The hotel invited the fashion maison Lanvin to accessorize the tree – which was just unveiled in its lobby, where it will remain on display through the new year. “We wanted to make all our Christmas dreams come true; an infusion of tradition and modernity together,” notes this year's tree-trimmer-in-chief, Alber Elbaz – Lanvin's Creative Director – whose likeness is perched atop the tree, complete with trademark glasses and bowtie, and in the spirit of the season, a wand and a pair of fairy wings.
