‘Poltrone’ Chair by Zoeli Rota Galindez
The second collection exhibited was ‘Embodied Memory’, part of which is the ‘Poltrone Chair’. This project started from a chair found on Murano Island, Venice, the chair carries an embedded value; given by its history and place of retrieval. The designer has taken action on the object by printing her body onto the chair, to convey impressions, memories and feelings in the users, they can be very different depending on their experiences.
