Resale Style from The Virgin Mary and Nincompoop
These friendly blonde Japanese girls are beauty school students that we photographed in Harajuku. Both have created cute looks after shopping at some well-known resale shops. The girl on the right is Kana, who’s wearing a vintage print shirt from The Virgin Mary over a short black skirt with sequin trim from a shop called Haight & Ashbury. Her black boots are Dr. Martens.
Kana’s bag is from Vivienne Westwood (which is obvious from the large metal logo). Her favorite store is Nadia and her favorite music genre is J-pop (Japanese pop).
On the right is Yuu, who’s wearing a white top with a Sesame Street print. Her short yellow “all-in-one” with Disney cartoon graphics is from Nincompoop, a resale store in the Kitakore Building in Koenji. Her gold and lavender shoes are from Nike.
