Michelle Obama Supports the Fashion Designers
The First Lady could give her husband a run for his money with the number of appearances she’s making. Together the pair continue to keep the public and the officials happy with their dedication to their work.
Branching out into a world she is clearly a fan of, Michelle recently entered the world of fashion and design in the form of America’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards.
Those who attended were honoured at the presence of the First Lady at the celebratory luncheon, which had the added bonus of being hosted at the White House.
Wearing a pink two piece Isabel Toledo ensemble herself, the fashionista was pleased to be involved in such an important event that supported the work of others.
Following the inspirational words of musician Miles Davis, who happens to be a favourite of Obama’s, “Don’t play what’s there, play what’s not there”, Michelle compliments the budding designers by stating that they are doing just that; playing what’s not there.
Well I don’t know about you but hearing such words from a high pillar in society would make me feel absolutely amazing. Just the career boost anyone would need.
